Health Needs Assessment

This is an initial assessment to determine health risks from your working environment and to see where occupational health intervention would be most beneficial. E.g. sickness absence reduction.

It is useful to periodically return to a needs assessment to use it as an audit tool and ensure that the most cost effective methods are being utilised to target the most important areas and uses disease control methods to determine future goal setting.

It also helps to focus the needs of the company against the occupational health time allocation. We will not charge you for time that is not used effectively. There will always be a positive purpose for any visit; you will always get outcomes from the day and know what the plan is for future visits.

This will ensure that occupational health input remains relevant and necessary.
